News & Events
I feel that all those who attended will agree, another great weekend. The venue was well suited for our needs with mobile homes, camping/touring pitches, a good club house, bar and restaraunt. After a soical evening on the Friday, severe rain & mist on the Saturday morning caused the ride out to be cancelled. However, there were enough cars to enable us all to still undertake the days journey which despite the weather was an enjoyable day out. Sat eve., dinner and disco, again great fun. Sunday the weather improved when we enjoyed a beautiful ride out around the Dorset countryside. Estimated we had about 40 bikes. Thank you to the organisors Bob & Jenny, Sue & Dave
3 GEAR DAY 2016
Thankfully we had decent weather for the day. Over 40 members attended with 28 Vespa. Most of these went on the rideout to Horstead Keynes railway station (Bluebell Raiway) where we stopped for a picnic lunch provided by the station buffet. Upon our return members were able to join in the 4 gymnkhana events before entering their Vespa for the Concours. Prizes were awarded at 4.30, in time for the return journey home. General comment seemed to deem this a successful day.. The organisors thank those who supported this experimental one day event.
