Whilst at the VVC Bamburgh event I noticed that several members had a rather neat way of fixing their VVC banners to the front leg shield. So I have copied their idea and am now just passing it on to yourselves.
Rather than using ties or affixing the edge of the banners under possible leg shield trim, simply use strong light weight magnets to hold banner securely down. These magnets are neodymium block magnets 50mm x 10mm x 1.5mm and are readily available on Ebay at minimal cost.
As well as being tidy, they are easy to put on or take off, no loose threads or fiddling with knots. I have ridden 50-60 miles, admittedly not at great speed, without any noticeable movement of the magnets or banner.
Also these magnets are great for organising tools in your workshop or
notes on your fridge - inexpensive Xmas gift ??
