Martin Sambrook, VVC membership secretary, sent me these photos of this sculpture by Gillie and Marc who have been called “the most successful and prolific creators of public art in New York’s History”. Having met while travelling, one of their main inspirations and present in many of their works, is Vespa..
The Vespa and sidecar sculpture is currently on display at the Brunswick Centre in London’s Bloomsbury between Brunswick Square and Russell Square.
