A recent addition to VVC member, Warren Jopson’s Vespa collection, is an ultra-rare Model U which he meticulously restored, following its purchase in February last year… from Norway no less!
I photographed the U last summer and the story of its restoration and the adventure Warren (and VVC chairman, Roger Smith) embarked on to collect it can be read in the latest issue of ScooterNova Magazine, published next week.
ScooterNova editor and VVC member, Andy Gillard, contributed a great article to the JOURNAL (No.83), marking the 35th anniversary of the Vespa T5. It’s nice to be able to return the favour, when I occasionally write and photograph articles for his excellent publication.
