The story of Pete Butcher's gorgeous 1969 Vespa Rally 180 was told in the latest VVC JOURNAL, autumn issue (No.80). Pete has decided he has too many scooters and the Rally is now up for grabs. Deep pockets are required for the asking price of £9000 but having photographed this beauty up close, I can vouch for its quality and expert restoration, carried out by London's Retrospective Scooters and glass-like paint job by Dave Maher of The London Scooter Bodyshop.
