The return of an event that in recent years has been organised by the Surrey Vintage Scooter Club. Again being put on by SVSC along with The Awfully Pleasant Scooter Association and the London Lambretta Club, supported by ScooterNova magazine, LCGB and us, the Veteran Vespa Club.
Starting from Epsom Downs, the route down to Brighton includes a stop-off at Devil's Dyke and will be for 3-speed 8" wheel Vespas and shaft-drive Lambrettas. An expected turnout of some rarefied 1950s machines will be on display from the two Italian marques. Let's hope the sun will be shining as it should make for a lovely ride and quite a spectacle!
