Ken Morris as featured in the latest VVC JOURNAL (No.80), has owned his VS4 GS150 from new, since buying it in November 1958 from an Aberdeen Vespa dealership. Ken had decided to sell his beloved GS as he no longer felt able to properly use it. I’m pleased to say the GS has now been sold to a recently joined VVC member from West Sussex. The new owner already has a few Vespas, plus Lambrettas and vintage motorcycles; he seems a very nice chap and I’m sure will appreciate and look after MST 812.
When I originally visited Ken back in May, I didn’t photograph the engine but did so earlier this week when I returned to help load the GS into the new owner’s van, this time we took off the engine side Florida bar..
Ken also included a couple of boxes of miscellaneous parts as you can see in top photo and below..
Many thanks to Ken and the GS’s new custodian - we may well see MST 812 at a future club rally in due course I hope.
