The last word on this year's Brighton Mod Weekender goes to VVC's Signor Mozzino; the first went to C.Spavento. Resident in Brighton, the event held over the August bank holiday weekend, makes it an easy outing for Signor Mozzino; not only very handy with a camera but also with his use of the 'Queen’s English'...
“Bold were the colours, beautiful were the scooters and anyone there, was there to be seen. Fast becoming the UK's catwalk for scootering, Brighton Bank Holiday delivered. This year it was hot in heat and hot in style and accessories, with "I WANT", on every turn of the head.
Whether you like them clean or adorned the class of the classics just gets better every year and like playing poker, everyone is laying down their cards on the Sunday pre ride out. Vespas with multiple side cars or lights and mirrors that would put an '80s disco to shame, it's all there.
Let's hope next year can better this, although it's only going to get harder to launch anything that's more stylish than on offer already!”
Signor Mozzino.
A visual treat - many thanks to Signor Mozzino for the excellent words and photos. Looking forward to seeing what next year brings!
Good to see also that yet another VVC member, Warren Jopson, was in Brighton making for a rusty fly in the ointment and flying in the face of all that mirror shine and polish - see here. Warren is definitely proud to ride and not hide what he has, way to go Mr Jopson ; )
