While my 1974 Motovespa GT160 was in for a service at Retrospective Scooters I also got some new rubber fitted, with a pair of bgm Classic tyres and matching bgm inner tubes.
These new tyres are 100% made in Germany and speed rated to 150kmh or 93mph, produced with silica compound for better grip in wet and dry conditions, V-shaped (opposed to U-shaped), for much better steering in bends with more road contact when leaning and manufactured with a very strong carcass, allowing for perfect straight-line stability and line holding under fast cornering.
