This utterly divine picture has been sent to us from VVC member Nigel Buxton, all the way from Western Australia - G’Day Nigel !
Nigel was curious as to the background story to this Cathedral based image : how did it get there, why is it there and when did this miracle happen ?
We’ll probably never know, maybe we’ll just have to accept that this is one Rod that moved in a mysterious way.
Footnote from Gatti - . I can solve that mysthery . That was in germany, in the city of Gelsenkirchen. A friend of me...Björn, made with his club...Vespa Club Gelsenkirchen a Rally with the Theme "Kumpel &Malocher Tour"....which are the words, or how coal miners were named. Gelsenkirchen belongs to the Ruhr Area...which was THE industrial area in old days. That church is one part of it. It is out of use as a church, but will be used for events/ workshops and so on. So a tourguide told us there a Bit of the history of the area...before starting the Rally. And to celebrate the 75th Vespa birthday, another friend of Björn and me put his V98 on the display. Or to say it with faithless..."..This is my church.....;-) .
