X marks the spot…!
On a recent visit to VVC member, Darren Bradbury in East London, I got a good look at the latest additions to his impressive collection of classic, vintage scooters. The last time I called by was 2013, when I photographed the collection for the second edition of my Retrospective Scooters book. This time around I was there on VVC business and the resulting photographs I took will be coming up in future JOURNAL editions.
Darren can’t help himself when it comes to classic Vespas but even he has admitted he may have a few more than he needs and is looking to sell some of his assembled fleet. So if any take your fancy, Roger Green at Wessex Scooters is handling enquiries on Darren’s behalf.
Darren has always been very generous and accommodating in allowing me access to his scooters which I really appreciate. As a ‘Vespa Nerd’ I get to photograph some beautiful and very rare examples, while providing the club with material for the members’ magazine - thanks Darren, you’re a gent ; )
