VVC Chairman, Roger Smith, tells of his latest flirtation with fame..
”Back in August I was with VVC members attending the rally at Vespa Club de Fecamp, Haute-Normandie.
Among the people that we have met many times at this event was Jean-Charles Caradonna, a charming chap who we knew was instrumental with the publication of a French 2-wheeler magazine.
During the weekend he took photos of me and the GS, asked me a few questions about us both and I thought nothing more about the occasion (it happens all the time you know!), until a few weeks ago, when through the post arrived the Octobre edition of 'La Vie de la Moto'. To my surprise and pleasure there on pages 20/21 was a comprehensive account of the weekend and the yours truly interview. Also included in the pictures and captions is VVC member, Jeff du Vespa-club de Colchester, on his T5 1976.”
